Dan Witz
The Brooklyn, N.Y.-based street artist brought his hyper-realist style to Eugene for the summer of 2017, installing several works on walls around town. Witz isn’t a traditional muralist. Instead he paints his small pieces in the studio in trompe l’oeil style, a visual illusion used to trick the eye into perceiving a painted detail as three-dimensional.
