Telmo Miel
Dutch partners Telmo Pieper and Miel Krutzmann came to Eugene with a drawing of what they thought would go on the side of the Oregon Contemporary Theatre/Shaw-Med building on Charnelton Street but changed plans upon arrival. Telmo Miel’s creations are inspired by the mood of the cities they visit and they got such a relaxed vibe from Eugene they created “Dog Daze of Summer,” a guy napping upon his dog. At first glance, the mural may look unfinished but look closely and you’ll see things that might seem unfinished but are really odes to famous cartoon characters like Walt Disney’s Pluto.
